As you may or may not know, the past few months I have been spending time writing poems. This is something I have thought about doing for many years and finally started.
When I finished my 50th poem, Sandy, my husband said let's put them in a book and put the book on Amazon. He said he would spend just a few minutes researching how to do this ... and finally, after several weeks of hard work my first poetry book is now on Amazon! Needless to say, I am a bit surprised and shocked that I have a book on Amazon.
I 'm excited to be able to share my first book with you now!

My husband , Sandy, tells me there is a bit of a hurdle to jump over before Amazon will promote new books. What is required is for at least ten people to buy a copy and then write a review on Amazon. Amazon measures the potential success of a book by the number of sales and reviews. Once ten people write a review, Amazon will automatically start promoting the book and things will go viral. As Amazon promotes it, more people buy it and then Amazon promotes it even more ... etc. etc. The more reviews the book gets the more Amazon will promote it.
